Iykyk. Idk why or when we switched up on hair grease because as a little girl my hair stayed done with nothing but grease, moisturizer and my mama’s hands and my hair did wonders, literally up until this new age braiding era of using braiding gel that’s contributing to our (not everyone of course) breaking off. I told my hair braider (whom I love, we truly have bonded lol) like hey we gone have to gone back to my roots, I can’t have any more of this braiding gel. She understood my concerns and was all for it. If needed she now uses a very minimal amount of gel with my permission.
Of course there is the in between care and just overall hair care when it comes to hair. But grease? Yeah I have to go back to our roots lol. I care more now of the health of my hair than my length right now. I’ve always had a good length of hair, but with the lack of care that I’ve done these past few years has been showing. Yes it’s just hair, it’ll grow back, but will it grow back healthy like it was once before?
Side note, I’ve legit never had this many hair problems before until I noticed the new braiding era taking effect.
Oh and on the last picture, I mixed all 3 together. My beautician gave me the ok lol as if my mom didn’t use these as a child lol
