Question for my fellow Christians 🤍
Let’s say you work at a place that provides therapy or counseling right? But they decide to add Yoga and Reiki services… if you are spiritually aware and if you are led by the Holy Spirit, would you continue working there? Even if you don’t have to participate in these practices, would you feel comfortable working in an establishment that provides these services as a Woman of God? This is a safe space, I would like opinions because I personally feel convicted although I enjoy my job and the people I work with, I don’t agree with these practices through my walk with God. This is not a post to argue or bash these services, I only seek the truth 🤍 #christianlemon8 #christiansoflemon8 #jesus #christiancontentcreator #prayer
In recent years, the integration of alternative healing practices, such as Yoga and Reiki, in conventional therapy settings has sparked significant debate among Christians. Many believers grapple with the implications of these practices on their faith and values. It’s essential to consider how these services can coexist with Christian beliefs, especially regarding spiritual health. For some, engaging with Yoga and Reiki may seem counter to their convictions, raising questions about the appropriateness of endorsing or continuing to work in such environments. Others may argue that these practices can be beneficial for healing and wellness without compromising one’s faith. It’s crucial to engage in open dialogue within the Christian community about these topics, addressing concerns and differences of opinion constructively. In addition to personal discomfort, there’s an aspect of collective ethics in workplaces that offer diverse spiritual services. It encourages a thoughtful examination of what it means to uphold Christian values while coexisting in a space that promotes alternative approaches to wellness. Many find that prayer and seeking wisdom through scripture can guide them in making decisions that align with their faith, providing clarity in such complex situations. Balancing faith and professional duties requires compassion and understanding, especially in shared spaces designed for healing.

*I* would feel ok working there if I'm not providing those service. Everybody hasn't come into the knowledge or relationship of God yet. But you said you feel convicted and if you feel convicted you should leave.
