TESTIMONY on how God works!

So I recently moved, and today I was going through a box and I found this book and journal… it would seem ordinary but this is from Mother’s day 2022 and back then I was still in the world and I obviously didn’t pay it much attention…it’s been sitting untouched for 3 years. Now, fast forward to today, during my walk with God this is one of my favorite authors! I don’t even remember receiving this gift! This brought tears to my eyes! God will show up in your life in the most unexpected ways! #testimony #jesus #prayer #christianlifestyle #prayerlife

... Read moreFinding that specific book, 'The Power of a PRAYING Mom' by Stormie Omartian, after all this time, genuinely felt like a divine nudge. It wasn't just any book; it was a reminder of a seed planted years ago that's now blooming in my spiritual walk. When I saw the inscription, '1 Samuel 1:10 Love - Sandra Mother's Day 2022,' dedicating it as 'your prayer journal for your children,' it really hit me. Back then, I probably just put it aside, not understanding the depth of that gift. But now, it’s a powerful testament to how God works in His perfect timing. Stormie Omartian's insights on prayer for children are incredibly profound. Her approach isn't just about wishing for good things; it’s about actively engaging in spiritual warfare and seeking God's will for our kids' lives. I've found her chapters on praying for their emotional health, their friendships, and their future spouses to be particularly impactful. It transforms anxiety into faith-filled action. This book isn't just for moms, though it resonates deeply with us; it’s for anyone who wants to learn how to pray effectively and trust God with the ones they love most. It truly guides you from a place of worry and 'tears' to a place of confidence and 'testimony,' knowing God is at work. The accompanying 'Calling all Moms' journal, which was meant to be my prayer journal for my children, has taken on new meaning. It’s no longer just an empty notebook. Now, I see it as a sacred space to pour out my heart, just like Hannah did in 1 Samuel 1:10, a verse that perfectly captures a praying mother's desperation and hope. Writing down my prayers, worries, and eventually, God's answers, has become a beautiful way to track His faithfulness. It helps me remember how far I've come and how many times He has shown up, often in ways I never anticipated. This whole experience has made me reflect on how many 'forgotten' blessings might be lurking in our own lives, waiting for God's perfect timing to be revealed. Sometimes, the most significant spiritual breakthroughs come from rediscovering something we once overlooked. It encourages me to be more mindful of the gifts and nudges God sends our way, even if their purpose isn't immediately clear. For anyone feeling adrift or wondering if God truly sees them, I want to share this: He does. And He will use the most unexpected things – even an old book or a simple journal from Mother's Day – to draw you closer to Him and show you His incredible love. So, maybe take a look through your own old boxes; you might just find a beautiful testimony waiting to unfold!
