Stay Here on Your Phuket Trip 🌴✨

Had a really pleasant stay at Sugar Ohana Poshtel in Phuket! The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel very welcome throughout my stay. As a solo traveller, I felt safe and comfortable here, which made a huge difference.

The room was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. Breakfast was also surprisingly good — simple but delicious and a great way to start the day. Super convenient location too, with a 7-11 just right beside the hotel for any late-night snacks or essentials.

One thing to note is that the hotel doesn’t have a lift, so it might be a bit inconvenient for those with baby prams or heavy luggage. That said, the staff are very helpful and will carry your luggage up for you, which I really appreciated.

Only downside is that the beach is about a 10-minute walk away, and since the hotel is located along the main road, it can get a bit noisy at night.

Overall, still a great stay and I would recommend it, especially for solo travellers 👍

... Read moreDuring my trip to Phuket, I also stayed at Sugar Ohana Poshtel and found the experience quite memorable, especially as a solo traveler seeking comfort and convenience. One of my favorite aspects was waking up to their wholesome Ohana Breakfast menu, which offers a variety of freshly brewed coffee options like Americano, Latte, and Cappuccino, alongside hearty choices such as creamy scrambled eggs, egg sandwiches, and even vegan pancakes with seasonal fruit. This breakfast set a positive tone for my days exploring Phuket. Although the hotel doesn’t have a lift, just like others mentioned, the helpful staff made sure my luggage was taken care of, which made moving in and out hassle-free. The proximity to a 7-11 convenience store was a lifesaver for late-night snacks and essentials—something I highly recommend when staying in a bustling area with limited dining options at night. The hotel’s location along the main road means there is some noise at night, which might not suit light sleepers. Also, the beach is about a 10-minute walk, so wearing comfortable shoes is a must when heading out for some sun and surf. If you have heavy luggage or baby prams, be mindful about the stairs, but the accommodating staff will gladly assist. For solo travelers craving a mix of safety, friendliness, and good food, Sugar Ohana Poshtel should definitely be on your list when visiting Phuket. Its relaxed vibe, coupled with the daily coffee rituals and tasty breakfast choices, made my stay both comfortable and enjoyable. Plus, being close to Phuket’s attractions and local hotspots ensured I never felt isolated or far away from the action.

Less touristy, more local, lots of creative spaces, good cafés, amazing Isaan food and a slower pace overall. If you’re looking for somewhere different from Bangkok/Chiang Mai/Phuket… this might be your sign 👀 #Thailand #HiddenGems #traveling #weekendgetaway #thailandtravel Ad L
