Had a really pleasant stay at Sugar Ohana Poshtel in Phuket! The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel very welcome throughout my stay. As a solo traveller, I felt safe and comfortable here, which made a huge difference.
The room was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. Breakfast was also surprisingly good — simple but delicious and a great way to start the day. Super convenient location too, with a 7-11 just right beside the hotel for any late-night snacks or essentials.
One thing to note is that the hotel doesn’t have a lift, so it might be a bit inconvenient for those with baby prams or heavy luggage. That said, the staff are very helpful and will carry your luggage up for you, which I really appreciated.
Only downside is that the beach is about a 10-minute walk away, and since the hotel is located along the main road, it can get a bit noisy at night.
Overall, still a great stay and I would recommend it, especially for solo travellers 👍

Its relaxed vibe, coupled with the daily coffee rituals and tasty breakfast choices, made my stay both comfortable and enjoyable. Plus, being close to Phuket’s attractions and local hotspots ensured I never felt isolated or far away from the action.
