NICARAGUA Tour🫶🇳🇮
So I got to visit Nicaragua on just a one day tour. The whole day trip took 15hrs. We got on a bus that took us from my hotel i was staying at in Costa Rica to Nicaragua. It took about an hour and a half to get to the border. From there we went through customs and passport id checks. Then this was where the fub began.
1. We got back on a bus in Nicaragua and we got to go visit a super yummy breakfast spot overlooking lake Nicaragua.
2. We went to a small town called Rivas where our tour guide was from. We got to see a couple churches.
3. We went to San Juan Del Sur!!!! So beautiful! The viewpoint was amazing and the statues of Jesus was incredible.
4. We went to Catarina in Managua. It used to be an active volcano a long time ago and now it is a crater lake in an extinct volcano. It was honestly one of the most breathtaking views ever.
5. We then got some time to shop around the stands and get some souvenirs. They had all kinds of things you could get.
6. We then took a boat ride and got to explore lake nicaragua. We got to feed monkeys some fruit and got to see the homes that people build right on top of mini islands in the water. It amazed me the way people live on the water.
7. We then traveled to the capital of Nicaragua called Managua! We got to explore the town on a carriage ride. It was so cute and we got to see the history of the town and how long its been around.
8. We lastly got to go to a small chocolate factory in this town and was able to take some nicaraguan chocolate back home.
9. We ate dinner in the town and then we went back to Costa Rica🤍
