Five stars is not nearly enough praise for The Princesses of Ruin! I knew from the first page of Brutal Rival that I was going to be madly in love with this series. Each book has been an emotional, steamy, and smutty adventure. I whole heartedly adore Ember and the amazing art she creates through storytelling.
The Princesses of Ruin is the fifth and final book in this series, and it did not disappoint. I love that we get to follow each princesses journey concurrently through the book while they battle their inner demons and their continued journey to save their kingdom. All of their previous work comes together in a neat, organized way that makes the story flourish.
Ember gives us everything we need, as always. The plot was clear and unique. The smut was detailed and creative. World building vividly captures all of the dynamic characters, kingdoms, and elements within the series. Not to mention the ending that had me both sobbing hysterically and ecstatic about their accomplishments.
I love the epilogue’s that give us a sneak peak into a potential spin off series. The Princesses of Ruin series is easily one of my absolute favorites of all time. Anything ember writes, I’m reading it!
