Cleaning a glass stove top can be straightforward if you use the right techniques and products. Begin with basic supplies such as a soft cloth, a specialized stove cleaner like 'Scrub Mommy,' and a non-abrasive sponge. First, wipe away any food debris and grease that has accumulated on the surface. It's essential to clean from the top down to avoid redistributing grime. Target all corners and edges where food particles and salt may linger, as these areas often trap dirt. Next, apply your scrub cleaner, allowing it to sit for about five minutes to break down stubborn residue effectively. After letting it soak, use your sponge to scrub gently but firmly, focusing on any particularly dirty spots. Once you've scrubbed the surface clean, finish by wiping away any remaining cleaner and debris with a clean cloth, ensuring no product is left to potentially scratch or dull the finish. For added protection, consider a glass stove-top polish to enhance shine and create a barrier against future grime. Regular maintenance, including wiping the stove after each use, can keep it looking like new. By following these steps, your glass stove will remain spotless and free of scratches, providing a clean, efficient cooking area.
