This year I truly felt how fast our babies grow. 🥹✨ For this #2025BabyGlowUp , I wanted to share one of the most special changes for me: watching my baby go from a tiny newborn who could barely open her eyes to a curious and strong little girl. 💛

Every day I discover something new about her personality: her laugh, the way she looks for me with her eyes, her desire to explore everything. These photos represent not only a physical change, but everything we've experienced together: sleepless nights, and those moments that seem small but mean EVERYTHING. 🤱💫

Sometimes I feel like we don't document enough, so this mini challenge was the perfect excuse to capture a little piece of our story. If you're a mom, you know exactly this feeling: one day you're holding a newborn and the next you have a baby who wants to conquer the world. 💕

Thank you for creating such a lovely space to share these moments @lemon8parenting. ✨ @Lemon8Parenting

... Read moreOh, the truth behind 'they grow so fast'! As a mom, I truly understand this feeling in my bones. It feels like just yesterday I was bringing my little one home, a tiny bundle barely opening their eyes. I remember those first few days, watching her sleep peacefully, sometimes needing a little extra help like the sweet newborn in the incubator shown in one of my photos. It's truly incredible how much they change even in that very first month! That transformation from a sleepy newborn to a more alert, responsive baby happens in the blink of an eye. Suddenly, that tiny infant who spent most of their time napping is now making eye contact, tracking objects, and even offering their first social smiles. I remember the day my little one started to hold her head up a little stronger, or when she first recognized my voice and turned towards me. Each little milestone, no matter how small, feels like a huge leap, and they just keep coming! One moment you're carefully strapping them into their car seat for the first time, and the next you're adjusting straps because they've grown an inch. It's bewildering and beautiful all at once. For me, the 'one month later' photo perfectly captures that initial burst of growth – from a fragile newborn to a more robust, curious little person. Because time truly does fly, I've learned a few things about trying to savor and document these precious moments. It's easy to get caught up in the daily routine and feel like you're not documenting enough, just like I did. But it doesn't have to be perfect! Snap those daily photos: Don't wait for a special occasion. Take quick phone snaps of their everyday expressions, their tiny hands, their sleeping face. These are the details you'll cherish later. Keep a simple journal: Even just a few lines each week about a new sound they made, a funny face, or a new skill they mastered. It’s amazing how quickly those memories fade. Video clips are magic: Short videos capture their giggles, their wobbly first steps, or their babbling conversations in a way photos can't. Create traditions: Start a monthly photo tradition (e.g., in the same outfit or with a favorite toy) to visually track their growth. Focus on presence: Sometimes, just putting the phone down and truly being present, soaking in their scent, feeling their warmth, and making eye contact, is the most powerful way to 'document' the moment in your heart. It's an emotional rollercoaster, watching them become more independent each day. While a part of you misses the tiny newborn, another part swells with pride at their blossoming personality and strength. Embrace every stage, because they truly do grow up in the blink of an eye. This journey is a beautiful, messy, incredible adventure, and every fleeting moment is worth cherishing.
