This is a juice I make usually once a month at the end of my period. I just like to do this kind of as a reset to help get back on track. I also occasionally like to use boric acid.

To make the juice I mix the whole bottle of cranberry juice, 6 cups of the pineapple(I blend it first to make it a juice), 1 tbs ACV, and some water so it’s not so bitter, and mix it together. I drink half one day and half on the second day.

While pure cranberry juice, like the Ocean Spray Pure Unsweetened Cranberry Juice I use, is a powerhouse for urinary tract health and packed with antioxidants, it's important to clarify expectations. From what I've learned and experienced, there isn't really solid scientific evidence suggesting that cranberry juice can actually make your period *end faster*. Our menstrual cycles are complex, driven by hormones, and not something a single juice can drastically alter. However, that doesn't mean cranberry juice isn't a fantastic addition to your routine during or after your period! Think of it less as a period-ender and more as a powerful ally for overall women's health and recovery. For me, making that vibrant mixed red juice with Ocean Spray Pure Unsweetened Cranberry Juice and Dole Pineapple Tidbits (which I blend down to juice) feels like a comforting ritual. It's incredibly hydrating, and staying hydrated is key during your period to help with bloating and overall discomfort. Pineapple, in particular, contains bromelain, an enzyme that some studies suggest might help with inflammation, which could potentially ease period cramps. While it won't magically make your period vanish, combining it with the goodness of pure cranberry creates a nutrient-rich drink that supports your body when it needs it most. And adding a dash of Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar? That’s my little gut-health secret! ACV is known for aiding digestion and balancing pH, which can contribute to feeling more balanced and energetic. So, while we might not be able to speed up our periods with a glass of juice, we can definitely support our bodies through the process. Beyond my post-period 'reset' juice, I've found a few other things that truly help me feel better during and after my cycle. Getting enough sleep is non-negotiable; my body just craves rest when it's working hard. Gentle movement, like a light walk or some yoga, can also work wonders for easing cramps and boosting mood. And don't underestimate the power of a warm bath or a heating pad on your lower abdomen—pure bliss! Hydration is always paramount. Along with my cranberry-pineapple-ACV blend, I make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day. Focusing on iron-rich foods like leafy greens, lean meats, or lentils can help replenish iron stores, especially if you experience heavy bleeding. And sometimes, just curling up with a good book and allowing myself to relax is the best medicine. Remember, every body is different, so it's about listening to yours and finding what makes you feel best. While my mixed red juice might not cut short your period, it certainly helps me feel refreshed, nourished, and ready to tackle the month ahead!
