Hi Lemon8 friends! It means a lot that you're curious to know more about me beyond the quick intro. Life as a SAHM and boy mom is a beautiful, busy adventure, and I'm always finding new ways to embrace it. My love for walks isn't just about exercise; it's my daily dose of fresh air and a chance to clear my head. Whether it's a brisk mile with my Apple Watch tracking my workout stats or a leisurely stroll through a green pasture with black cows grazing under a blue sky, these moments are precious. It’s where I often find inspiration, sometimes even capturing a scenic view with my camera. Speaking of cameras, photography is truly a passion. I love freezing moments in time, from candid shots of my son dipping his feet into the river while sitting on a log, to the delicate beauty of pink roses and baby's breath in a vase at home. Even a casual mirror selfie in my favorite black crop top and ripped jeans or my blue sports bra and leggings at the gym helps me document my journey. There’s something special about preserving memories, whether it's a black and white picture of a couple in a heart-shaped frame or the simple joy of an outdoor picnic with a Little Caesars pizza box and pink soda bottles on a checkered blanket. Being a boy mom is everything I imagined and more. It’s messy, loud, and filled with endless energy, but also incredible joy. We love our family adventures, big and small. And yes, being a SAHM means my days are packed, but it also means I get to be fully present for these fleeting childhood moments. From cheering at a football game (or just carrying a striped tote bag with the word on it!) to helping with homework, it’s a constant learning experience for all of us. Then there’s my infamous love-hate relationship with the gym. One day I'm feeling strong in my blue leggings and gray cropped sweatshirt, pushing through a workout, and the next, motivation is nowhere to be found! But I keep showing up, knowing that self-care is so important for mind and body. It's truly a journey, not a destination. And finally, my faith is a cornerstone of my life. Taking time to read my Bible, often with my Discover the Bible bookmark tucked inside, on a cozy pink and green mat with a water bottle nearby, helps ground me. It’s my quiet time for reflection and spiritual growth amidst the beautiful chaos of family life. Thanks for letting me share a little more about what makes me, me! I'm excited to connect with you all here on Lemon8.
