cute & trendy layered outfit idea for winter 🌲☕️
i’ve been seeing a lot of the insta fashion baddies posting in these super layered, baggy outfits lately & i absolutely love them. i wanted to try out creating one of these looks, so i went for it! i really really liked how it came out! it’s definitely an outfit i’d repeat :)
i noticed in most of the other girl’s posts, they were wearing super baggy jorts or jeans. i had these baggy jorts i’ve been wanting to style so i went with these!
i also noticed they just had SO many layers, pieces, & details to their outfits. it’s more than i ever really would have thought to put together, but i really love how the looks come out.
🖤 here’s what i layered for my look 🖤
- a knit white tube top
- a knit button up cardigan
- an oversized faux leather jacket
- a chunky knit scarf
- baggy vintage wash jorts
- leg warmers
- fur lined platform ankle boots
- a beanie
- an oversized tote bag
- some black & gold framed glasses
let me know what you guys think! 🖤

Okay, so you've seen my latest layered winter outfit, and I'm still obsessed with how it turned out! But let's be real, putting together a truly chic layered winter outfit can sometimes feel like a puzzle. The key, I've found, is to embrace textures and proportions. It's not just about throwing on clothes; it's about creating a whole vibe that's both cozy and incredibly stylish for those chilly city adventures. When I started experimenting with this look, I realized how crucial a good base is. I usually start with something snug, then build outwards. For this particular outfit, the knit tube top and green cardigan were perfect starting points, adding warmth without bulk. Then comes the star: the *faux leather jacket*. Seriously, if you don't have one for *winter layering*, you're missing out! A leather jacket winter layering outfit is just so effortlessly cool. It adds that edgy touch and makes any casual look feel instantly elevated. I love how it contrasts with the softness of the knit scarf – speaking of which, a chunky scarf is a must-have for both warmth and adding another layer of visual interest. Now, let's talk about the bottom half. Baggy jorts in winter might sound wild, but hear me out! Paired with cozy leg warmers and my favorite *platform ankle boots*, they become surprisingly practical and super trendy. It’s a fresh take on the denim jacket layered winter outfit vibe, just with jorts instead. This combination is perfect for a full day out, whether you're hopping between cafes, exploring new shops, or just enjoying a brisk walk. I even saw some inspiration with a person sporting green-tipped hair rocking a similar style, proving it's all about personalizing those trendy pieces! And for those specific winter bar outfit or outfit bar winter moments? This exact look transitions beautifully. Imagine stepping into a dimly lit cafe, adjusting your black faux leather jacket and chunky scarf as you grab a warm drink. It’s comfortable enough for a relaxed evening but still polished enough to feel put-together. The black beanie and oversized tote bag complete the urban explorer aesthetic, making it ideal for a casual night out with friends. Don't be afraid to mix and match. Maybe swap out the jorts for a pair of wide-leg trousers on another day, or layer a different color knit cardigan under your jacket. The beauty of layered winter outfits is their versatility. It's all about finding pieces that make you feel good and confident. What are your go-to layering hacks for winter? I’d love to hear them!
