my sunday self care ritual 🫶

i look forward to sunday’s every single week. it’s always my relax & reset day. it helps me feel ready for the new week!

first i start by deep cleaning my apartment. i hate going into the new work week with a messy place!

then i dry brush my body for exfoliation, circulation, & lymphatic drainage

after that i relax with a refreshing bath

things i use in my bath:

- being frenshe body wash ($10.99)

- magnesium oil ($8.39)

- peppermint oil ($9.89)

then i take a shower to fully cleanse & shave

things i use in my shower:

- flamingo razor ($8)

- dr scholls callous remover ($8)

lastly i use my favorite fragrance! (eilish $72)

even if im not leaving the house i enjoy smelling good. i do it for me 🙂‍↕️

I love using Epsom salts or magnesium flakes; they do wonders for sore muscles and really enhance the relaxation. Don't forget a good book, a cup of herbal tea, or even just closing your eyes and practicing some deep breathing – it’s your time to completely disconnect from notifications and the outside world. This intentional pause is where the real magic happens. My routine always starts with dry brushing, and I can't recommend it enough for anyone looking to boost their self-care. It's not just for exfoliation; the gentle strokes stimulate your lymphatic system, which is crucial for detoxification and circulation. You feel invigorated yet incredibly smooth afterwards. It's a wonderful way to prep your skin and get your blood flowing before you even step into the water. The feeling of fresh, stimulated skin is truly unique. It allows you to process the past week, release tension, and go into the new one feeling grounded, refreshed, and mentally prepared. This Sunday reset helps me tackle challenges with a clearer head and a more positive outlook, making me feel like I’ve already conquered something before the week even begins!
