my favorite unconventional color combo 👀🍇🍵
i used to think purple & green did NOT go together at all 😭🤮 now it’s one of my favorite color combos!!
i love purple so i have a lot of purple clothes and accessories. but i dont have much yet for green! so for this look i went with some green press on nails & some green sunglasses.
i was wishing i had a small green bag to really make the outfit pop, but i did at least have my lilac purple coach bag that matches the sweater :)

At first glance, purple and green may seem like an unlikely pairing. But I've found that when balanced thoughtfully, they create a striking and fashionable look that really stands out. One key to making this combo work is to mix shades and textures — for example, pairing a soft lilac purple sweater with vibrant green accessories like press-on nails and sunglasses adds just the right amount of contrast without overwhelming the outfit. I noticed that accessorizing with smaller pops of green helps keep the look fresh and wearable. While I wished for a green purse to complete the ensemble, even subtle hints like nail art make a noticeable impact. If you’re hesitant, start with accessories first before investing in larger green pieces. Another tip is to match the tones so they complement each other rather than clash. For instance, softer purples and jewel-tone greens tend to harmonize well. This approach can be applied beyond fashion as well — think about using purple and green decor accents in your living space to add vibrancy while maintaining balance. Ultimately, fashion is about personal expression and breaking the rules a bit. Embracing color combos like purple and green can elevate your style and show off your individuality. I encourage you to experiment with these hues and find your own unique spin on this unconventional yet charming color duo.
