MOROCCO TRIP 🇲🇦
Last month I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Morocco!
Trip details:
🌙 11 nights total
☀️ 10 full days + 2 travel days
🌆 6 cities visited
I am going to break down each city for you, including our itinerary - what I liked, what I didn’t, where I would return, where I wouldn’t, etc!
01. Casablanca
I flew from TPA to JFK where I met up with my mom and then we flew together from JFK to Casablanca on Royal Air Moroc. We had a relatively smooth experience with customs and had a private driver pick us up at the airport.
Before we departed Casablanca, we stopped at the Hassan II Mosque. This is a #mustsee !!! The mosque is beautiful - the design, architecture, artisanal tile work, everything!
We stayed in Casablanca our last night in Morocco as well. The city is busy and a little overwhelming.
Casablanca was my least favorite city, and I would not return the next time I visit Morocco (except to fly in).

Casablanca is a city renowned for its rich culture, stunning architecture, and historical significance. As the largest city in Morocco, it is a bustling metropolis that offers a unique blend of modernity and tradition. One of the city's most iconic landmarks is the Hassan II Mosque, which is not only the largest mosque in Morocco but also one of the few in the world that allows non-Muslims to enter. Its exquisite design features intricate tile work and majestic minarets, making it a #mustsee for any visitor. The coastal city also boasts a vibrant nightlife and a variety of delicious Moroccan cuisine options, from traditional tagines to fresh seafood. Exploring the local markets is another highlight, where you can find handmade crafts and souvenirs. Visitors often enjoy walking along the corniche, taking in the view of the Atlantic Ocean and the busy city life. On the other hand, it's essential to be aware of the hustle and bustle, as Casablanca can sometimes feel overwhelming. For travelers planning a trip to Morocco, exploring Casablanca is just one part of a broader journey. Other cities such as Marrakech, Fes, and Tangier offer contrasting experiences. Each city in Morocco has its unique charm, culture, and history. Therefore, when visiting, it’s often recommended to create a well-rounded itinerary to fully experience the diverse beauty of Morocco. Understanding local customs and engaging with residents can greatly enrich your travel experience!
