I wanna be a YouTuber but…
So i been making content on YouTube since 2018 and while i consider myself a content creator i don’t feel like i get to call myself a YouTuber. I get really discouraged because i been doing YouTube for so long with a goal of hitting 10k and i can’t even hit that. If i was being honest with myself i would say i have a dead channel so I decided to stop being so intentional and go back to uploading when and what i want. YouTube used to be a hobby and so much fun for me but i started comparing myself to other creators and seeing how fast they would grow compared to me was hard. Any tips on for growing on YouTube but still keeping it fun?

Building a successful YouTube channel can be challenging, especially when comparing your progress to others. To maintain motivation, shift your focus back to what you love about creating content. Experimenting with different formats or topics can reignite your passion. Additionally, engage with your audience by responding to comments and asking for feedback; this can foster a loyal community. Consider setting smaller, achievable goals, like improving video quality or consistency rather than just focusing on subscriber count. Collaborating with other creators can also expose you to new audiences and inspire fresh ideas. Stay updated with trending challenges or topics in your niche, and incorporate them into your content creatively. Lastly, remember that growth takes time. Establishing an authentic brand and connecting meaningfully with your audience will lead to sustained, long-term growth. Don’t forget to enjoy the process!
