Postpartum bodies?
I had my son April 13 and this is me 6 days postpartum. It’s crazy how people see me and i wish i could see myself through those eyes because even though i know i still look “pretty good” i know what my body is capable of being so i can’t wait to get back there. Im excited to rebuild my dream body. Im NOT satisfied with this body, It’s not about being insecure to me, it’s simply about wanting to look and feel MY best according to MY own desires. I’ll get my body back, I did it twice and i can do it again 🤎

Postpartum recovery is a significant journey for mothers, often filled with emotional and physical challenges. Many women feel pressure to regain their pre-pregnancy bodies quickly. However, it is essential to understand that every body is unique and goes through its transformation. Aiming for a healthy recovery involves focusing on nourishing your body, engaging in light exercises when ready, and allowing ample time for rest and healing. Discussing the impact of societal expectations on women's bodies after childbirth is crucial. The support from communities can make a significant difference, as sharing personal stories and struggles can help foster a more positive body image. Embracing the changes and celebrating milestones during the postpartum journey can empower mothers and help them reconnect with their bodies. Many find that participating in postpartum fitness classes can provide support and encouragement, making the transition smoother and more enjoyable. Remember, the path to body positivity after pregnancy is not linear—it's essential to be patient and kind to yourself.

You look so good!! 😩 I get it’s a tough adjustment mentally + physically especially with everyone saying how good you look but you don’t see it! You will bounce back as you’ve done before. 😍
