My thoughts 🌸

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about whether getting married young would be seen as a generational curse being broken in my family. It feels like there’s this pressure to follow a certain path—where everyone encourages dating around and waiting until after 30 to even think about marriage. I know it’s rooted in the idea of “finding yourself” and living life before committing, but it also feels like it’s just a cycle that doesn’t necessarily lead to what’s healthiest or best for everyone. I don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything by dating my current boyfriend. We just do what we want together. For me, I want to take my time to really build my relationship with Christ and focus on growing into the woman I know I’m called to be. I want to make sure that whatever I do in my life and relationships is centered on His will, and that I’m becoming the best version of myself, with Him leading the way. It’s hard not to feel the pressure, but I’m learning that being patient and trusting in God’s timing is what will truly bring peace.💕

... Read moreMarriage can often evoke various opinions, especially when it comes to age and timing. While some argue that getting married young is a generational curse, others see it as an opportunity for growth and deeper connections. The importance of aligning one's life decisions with faith is paramount. Building a relationship rooted in spiritual values can provide a strong foundation for both partners. Many believe that exploring one's identity and ensuring personal growth before commitment fosters healthier relationships. Having open conversations about vulnerability and expectations plays a vital role in understanding each other's needs. When couples trust in God's timing, they often find peace amid societal pressures. Not everyone follows the same path when it comes to love and relationships; recognizing that individuality is crucial can help dispel doubts and fears. Embracing this journey together allows for shared experiences and strengthens bonds. Remember, there is no one-size-fits-all approach to marriage; what's right for one couple may not suit another. It's essential to prioritize what feels authentic to you and your relationship.

The image presents five tactics to overcome a slump: the 5-second rule, the 5-minutes rule, using past mistreatment as motivation, romanticizing small tasks, and watching motivational videos. It notes these are personal tips, not guaranteed fixes.
