Second attempt with the paint markers. I did not manage to draw a photo of the potato soup I had there which was for sure a 10/10
As someone who loves combining art and food, I found this meal experience truly inspiring. Using paint markers to capture the dishes was a fun challenge, especially trying to do justice to the flavors I tasted. The mushroom wild risotto scored a solid 7/10 in my book — its rich, earthy flavors balanced beautifully and made it very enjoyable. I’m also a huge fan of tuna tataki, and the Hawaiian big eye tuna really hit the mark with freshness and that savory sauce, earning it a 6/10. Now, the Wagyu ribeye was a highlight — tenderness at its best with a perfect cook. I personally would have loved a touch more sauce, but that’s purely my taste preference. It scored an impressive 9/10. The strawberry cheesecake, however, was a bit underwhelming for me, coming in at 3/10 in terms of flavor and uniqueness, though it added a sweet finish. What truly stole the show was the potato soup, which I couldn't quite capture in my drawing, but I can confidently say it was a perfect 10/10. It was comforting and rich, a true surprise star on the menu. This experience has motivated me to keep practicing my food art while exploring new dishes, and I can’t wait to share more honest reviews that blend my love of food and creativity. If you're a foodie who enjoys both tasting and visualizing great meals, I highly recommend giving your meals a rating and trying to sketch them—it deepens the appreciation!
