To the version of me 10 years ago…
You’re about to grow through things you never imagined. Some days will stretch you mentally, emotionally, financially, and spiritually. You’ll question yourself more than once. But you do make it through.
You learn that strength isn’t always loud. Sometimes it looks like getting up anyway. Showing up anyway. Loving people anyway. Building something from nothing anyway.
You stop waiting to “have it all together” before moving forward. You learn balance matters more than perfection. Peace matters more than proving yourself. And growth doesn’t always look glamorous while you’re in it.
You’ll become someone people depend on. A mother, caregiver, business owner, leader, protector, and safe place for others. But don’t forget to pour back into yourself too.
Not everyone will understand your pace, your vision, or your process — and that’s okay. What’s meant for you will unfold in its own timing.
You’ll lose people. Outgrow people. Heal from things you never talked about. And somehow still find softness, love, purpose, and joy again.
Keep going.
The woman you’re becoming is stronger, wiser, more grounded, and more beautiful than you could’ve imagined.
Looking back 10 years, I realize how crucial it is to embrace each challenge, even when the path is unclear or difficult. Growth often happens in silent, unseen ways — it’s not always about dramatic victories but about the persistence to keep going despite doubts or setbacks. In my own experience, I found that strength really means showing up for myself and others, even when I felt exhausted or uncertain. Sometimes it was as simple as choosing self-care or setting boundaries to protect my peace. I also learned that progress doesn't require perfection. Balancing responsibilities, ambitions, and personal well-being taught me that peace within is more rewarding than trying to prove myself to anyone else. Throughout the years, relationships evolved: some people stayed, others moved on. Each departure or reunion became part of my healing and growth. I discovered the importance of allowing space for change without guilt or regret. This gave me room to find joy, love, and purpose in new ways that I hadn’t imagined before. Ultimately, the biggest takeaway is this: your journey unfolds exactly as it should, even when it's messy or slow. Trust in your pace, celebrate your wins — big and small — and keep nurturing the resilience that is quietly building within you. The woman you become in the next 10 years will be your strongest and most beautiful self, nurtured by every experience you face today.
