Cozy Murder Mystery
⭐️Overall rating: 4/5
I had a great time reading this book. It follows Molly, a maid for a ritzy hotel. Her world gets just a little crazier when she finds a body in a bed.
👍Pros:
There was some ambiguous neurodivergent representation. While there was something amiss about Molly, she is a character that you root for you want to do well. Molly is capable, she is kind, and she just wants to go to work and pay her rent. She isn’t pretending to be a detective or amuture sleuth, which I thought was refreshing for a murder mystery.
👎 Cons:
There are parts of the book that felt repetitive. Sometimes, for good reason - other times, not so much. It wasn’t to the degree that it made me put the book down, but I did take notice of it.
