Lightlark: Yes
The reason for my yes to this book is that has a love triangle that leaves me rooting for both people. There’s twists and turns, bonds, and betrayals.
These Violent Delights: Maybe
I gave this a maybe because it’s more about a second chance romance but things keep getting in the way of the actual romance. I thought this was a good story and I’ll get to the second book someday, but it felt like the urban fantasy elements came first.
Recipe for a Charmed Life: No
I had to DNF this book because I just got annoyed with it. Cheating is something I really hate in books as a personal ick, and I couldn’t get past it.
The Winged Tiara: Yes
In some ways, this is a second chance romance between two thieves going for the same tiara. While they’re married and have yet to divorce, there’s also the vibes that they don’t actually want to divorce. It was a fun story with a solid plot and witty characters.
Divine Rivals: Yes
I thought the romance in this completed duology was so sweet. I enjoyed the letters exchanged between both characters and watching them both fall for each other.
Neon Gods: No
I couldn’t get past the world building to get to the romance part. For me, the plot holes were to big, so I had to move on. I don’t care if a book is spicy but there has to be some crumbs of plot that make sense.
Daisy Miller: Yes
This book is broken into two big chunks, and doesn’t have a happy ending. However, this book has a fun societal commentary for what was expected at the time and Daisy Miller is iconic.
This Is How You Lose The Time War: Maybe
I enjoyed the LGBT+ rep and once it clicked what was going on, I was good. However I did spent a lot of time confused. It’s a sci-fi romance that really deserves two read throughs.
