I can’t say I’ve seen an honest review on either of these scents, so I wanted to add my two cents.
Toasted Marshmallow 🏕️
I’m not going to lie, I was SO disappointed in this scent. I am a big gourmand girl, so a marshmallow scent usually hates to see me coming. However, this smells like a marshmallow that has been caught on fire (and not in a good way). Perhaps it’s the birch, but I couldn’t do it. If you like a burnt/smokey scent though, this might be for you.
Notes: Toasted marshmallow, caramelized sugar, and smoky birch
Beach Waves 🏝️
I don’t know what I was expecting with this one, but it’s not for me. It’s fine - very pineapple forward, but a floral dry down. I get a lot more coconut in the bottle than I actually do on the skin, which is a shame because I LOVE coconut. If you like Coco Shimmy by Sniff, this gives her older, more mature sister.
Notes: Pineapple punch, tiare flower, and salted coconut

... Read moreBuilding on my initial thoughts about the EOS Summer Scents, I wanted to dive a bit deeper into what makes these new additions stand out, for better or worse! Many of you are searching for 'eos beach waves body lotion' and 'eos toasted marshmallow lotion' reviews, and I want to give you all the details you might be missing.
Let's talk more about the Toasted Marshmallow scent. While I personally found the smoky birch note overpowering, giving it a 'burnt' quality, I've heard from others who absolutely adore it. If you're someone who enjoys smoky, woodsy notes mixed with your gourmands, this 'toasted marshmallow body lotion' could actually be a unique pick for you. It's not your typical fluffy, sweet marshmallow; it leans more into the outdoorsy, campfire vibe. The texture of this EOS body lotion is fantastic, as always – it's rich without being greasy, sinking into the skin beautifully. For those looking for a 'cashmere body mist' version, the mist offers a lighter, more diffused experience, which might soften that smoky edge for some. Consider layering it with a pure vanilla scent if you want to dial up the sweetness!
Now, for Beach Waves. My initial take was that it didn't quite hit the tropical coconut punch I craved. However, after wearing the 'eos beach waves body lotion' a few more times, I've noticed its floral dry-down becomes quite pleasant and sophisticated. It's definitely more of a 'mature' beach scent compared to some overly sweet, synthetic coconut fragrances out there. The pineapple punch is prominent at first, giving it a juicy, bright opening, but the tiare flower and salted coconut really come through later. If you're specifically searching for 'eos new beach waves' and expecting a pure coconut bomb, you might be a little surprised, but if you appreciate a balanced, slightly floral aquatic scent, this could be a winner. I found the 'cashmere body mist' in Beach Waves to be a great way to refresh throughout the day, leaving a subtle, breezy scent without being overwhelming.
For anyone trying to decide between the 'eos summer scents', think about your preference: are you team smoky gourmand or sophisticated tropical? Both the 'eos toasted marshmallow body lotion' and 'eos beach waves body lotion' offer excellent hydration. The longevity of these scents, especially the lotions, is decent for a body product – I usually get a few hours before it fades to a skin scent. Layering the body lotion with its matching cashmere body mist definitely helps extend the wear and intensify the fragrance.
Overall, these 'new eos lotion toasted marshmallow' and 'eos new beach waves' products are definitely unique additions to the summer lineup. They might not be universally loved, but that's what makes them interesting! Don't just go by the initial sniff; give them a chance to develop on your skin. What are your thoughts on these 'summer eos scents'? Have you tried them yet?
