Baby boy is due this week or next monday!! 👶🏻💙👩🏻🍼🥳💙
It has been awhile since I’ve posted as I focused on my health and over all well being and my baby boy. ☺️🥹 I am absolutely excited to meet my baby boy!! I lost a ton of my mucus plug since 36 weeks and lost A LOT tonight!! I am currently 39w1d (almost 2 days) the birth of my son is right around the corner!! 🥹💙👩🏻🍼
Wow, hitting 39 weeks pregnant feels like a marathon and a sprint all at once! My baby boy’s due date is officially upon us, and the anticipation is just incredible. I completely relate to that feeling of constantly checking for signs, from the subtle changes in my body to bigger signals like losing the mucus plug – it definitely makes you feel like things are moving forward! If you're also counting down the days to your baby boy's arrival, you're probably experiencing a mix of excitement, nerves, and maybe a little impatience. One thing I've found helpful is focusing on those last-minute preparations that make the wait feel productive. Beyond the hospital bag (which I've probably repacked three times by now!), I’ve been thinking a lot about what happens after he arrives. For example, newborn photos! With my little guy arriving soon, I've been dreaming up ideas for his first photoshoot. It’s such a special way to capture those fleeting early moments. I even got this adorable black and white striped baby outfit with "KING" written on it – I just know he'll look so regal and cute in it! This got me thinking about different baby boy photo themes (tema foto bayi laki laki) that are popular and truly capture the essence of a little prince. Here are a few ideas that have crossed my mind, hoping to inspire fellow expectant moms: Little King/Prince Theme: Like my "KING" outfit, this theme is timeless and sweet. Think crowns, soft blankets, royal blue or gold accents. It’s perfect for celebrating your new family member. Rustic/Nature Theme: Using natural elements like wooden props, knitted blankets, and earthy tones. It creates a very serene and organic feel. Superhero in Training: For those who love a bit of fun! Incorporating capes, tiny masks, or even a city skyline backdrop can make for incredibly playful photos. Sports Fan: If you and your partner are big sports enthusiasts, tiny jerseys, miniature balls, or team colours can make for a personalized shoot. Simple & Sweet: Sometimes less is more. A plain backdrop, a cozy swaddle, and focusing purely on the baby’s tiny features can be incredibly powerful. When planning, consider if you'll DIY or hire a professional. If you're doing it yourself, natural light is your best friend, and make sure the baby is fed and sleepy for the best results. I’m leaning towards a mix – maybe some casual shots at home with his "KING" outfit, and then if we decide on something more elaborate, we might look into a professional. Beyond the photos, these final days before the baby boy due date are also about mentally preparing. I’ve been trying to rest as much as possible, enjoy quiet moments, and just soak in the last bits of pregnancy. It’s a huge transition, and while every Braxton Hicks contraction or twinge makes me wonder if "this is it," I’m trying to embrace the mystery and excitement. Trust your body, listen to what it needs, and know that you're about to meet the most incredible little person. The countdown is real, and it’s truly magical!
