👩🏽‍💼As a Corporate Girl on Black Air Force Business..

Put ya set up naoooow! 🥷

Jk jk fighting at work causes for suspension to termination & I don’t want that to happen to none of y’all lol.

There are a few things as a corporate girl I do fight for aka standing on my corporate business at all times. Let me share a few…

1. Equality

I be beating this drum at all times if one person does it then we all need to as a team. And if that one person shouldn’t be doing said actions then why and who is letting them do it. Because at the end of the day if we are all one team and get penalized as one whole we shouldn’t allow special treatment to cause our demise. Okay!

2. Completing Others Work

I won’t lie to you at this point it’s every month I’m finishing other people’s work so we meet the deadline which annoys me but it’s something that may happen. Everyone has a different pace and that is ok, plus days off, sick etc. But what I’m not doing is your entire work load and you been here on the clock the entire time. I will block you on Skype, Teams, MatterMost, and Microsoft Office in that order.

Thoes are really my main two things. Other than that I just keep to my self and watch folks be crazy lol but what do you fight for at work?

Workplace equality remains one of the strongest pillars for a positive corporate environment. Whether it means ensuring everyone is held to the same standard or addressing when someone receives unfair special treatment, advocating for equality promotes a harmonious and productive team dynamic. Another common challenge is managing workloads, particularly when some colleagues fall behind. While it's normal that coworkers may occasionally need support due to varying paces or unexpected absences, consistently bearing the burden of others' incomplete tasks can lead to frustration and burnout. Protecting your time and productivity by setting clear boundaries—like limiting communication on platforms such as Skype, Teams, or Microsoft Office when necessary—can help maintain work-life balance and ensure accountability. In dealing with these challenges, it’s vital to communicate openly and professionally. Supporting your team while ensuring everyone carries their fair share contributes to a respectful and efficient workplace. Beyond these battles, staying focused on your responsibilities and observing office dynamics can foster awareness and preparedness for any other issues that arise. For corporate girls standing firm in their principles, the journey includes learning to balance assertiveness with collaboration, ensuring your voice is heard while maintaining professionalism. What do you fight for at your job? Sharing these stories fosters community and inspires others to advocate for their own workplace rights and well-being.
