Something Icy, Fruity, & Cold 🥶 Pls!

Summer is finally here!!!

My favorite thing to do is to hit the beach to cool off and enjoy some sunshine. But I can’t be out there on an empty stomach either.

I want to share some of my favorite snacks I normally take with me to eat on the trip there, during, and even leaving the beach.

1. Fruit/Frozen Fruit

Frozen fruit or just fruit in general just hits the spot on a hot day. It’s healthy, sweet, and refreshing. The only thing you might need to worry about are the seagulls making crazy eyes at you lol.

2. Frozen Fruit Chia Seed Parfait

Lately Ive been into chia seed in most of my yogurt parfait mixtures and to take it up a notch I throw on some frozen fruit. Not only it’s a good way to get in your protein and fiber. It will keep you full until it’s time to have a sub with some salt and vinegar chips!

3. Smoothies!

After a long day at the beach. Getting hit by waves and stalked by the sea birds. How about calm down with a sweet creamy drink? That’s always on my todo list from visiting the beach.

“Must leave with a smoothie ✅”

So what are your go to summer snacks ? I want to add to my rotation for the next beach visit 🌊

... Read moreSummer days call for snacks that not only cool you down but also keep you energized and satisfied. One of my favorite go-to options after reading about these beach snacks is to make a vibrant frozen fruit bowl. I typically blend berries, mango, and pineapple, then freeze them into small cubes. These cubes double as a snack or can be blended into iced drinks. Adding chia seeds to my yogurt parfait has been a total game-changer because chia seeds offer a good dose of protein and fiber, helping me feel full longer while keeping the snack light. Frozen fruit on top adds that refreshing chill and sweetness which is perfect after a sun-soaked day. Plus, these parfaits are super quick to prepare in the morning before heading out. Smoothies are my favorite end-of-day treat when I want to unwind after swimming or beach volleyball. Mixing in frozen bananas with spinach, a spoonful of almond butter, and a splash of almond milk creates a creamy texture and delicious flavor that feels indulgent yet nutritious. I love how smoothies are customizable; sometimes I add a little coconut water for extra electrolytes. A key tip for avoiding the seagull attention mentioned is to pack snacks in reusable containers and eat in designated areas to reduce wildlife encounters. Also, bringing a small cooler bag with ice packs keeps the snacks perfectly chilled throughout the day. If you want to expand your snack rotation, consider adding homemade popsicles made with fresh fruit juice and yogurt, crunchy vegetable sticks with hummus, or even a refreshing watermelon salad with mint. These options are easy to prepare and travel well, making your beach days both fun and flavorful. Remember, staying hydrated is just as important as snacking, so pairing your treats with plenty of water or infused water with lemon or cucumber is essential. Enjoy your summer with these delicious, icy, and fruity snacks that make beach days unforgettable!
