Hike with me to Gloria Falls 🏔️🌊 Pt. 3 — the hardest part (IMO). 😅
That last climb? Baby… the elevation was giving personal trainer/drill sergeant energy. 🤣 It was testing me every step of the way, and I wanted to turn back more than once.
But I kept the goal in mind.
I think that’s why I enjoy hiking so much. It’s not even the workout (because if you know me… you KNOW I’m trying. We’ll get there when we get there. 😜). It’s the clarity.
Getting away from the noise, taking in God’s creation, moving my body, and reminding myself that I can do hard things—it all fills my cup in a way that’s hard to explain.
This is my version of pouring back into me. 🤍
Thank you for coming along on this adventure! Editing this series was no joke 😂, but I’m so glad you watched it with me.
If you missed Parts 1 & 2, they’re waiting for you on my page. 😉
Until the next adventure… LUVV YOU! 🫶🏽
Hiking to Gloria Falls, especially the final stretch, offers more than just a physical challenge—it’s a test of mental endurance and self-motivation. From personal experience, the last climb feels like your own personal trainer pushing you relentlessly, asking you to summon reserves of strength you didn’t know you had. While the steep elevation gain can be daunting, it’s important to focus on the goal and embrace the journey. One thing that stood out for me was how hiking serves as a perfect escape from everyday distractions, providing clarity that’s hard to find elsewhere. The quiet majesty of Utah’s natural landscape—the rustle of the trees, the fresh mountain air, the cascading waters of Gloria Falls—refreshes your spirit and renews your energy. If you’re someone who struggles with tough workouts or pushing through difficult moments, taking on a hike like this can be both humbling and empowering. It’s not about speed or perfection; it’s about persistence and celebrating small victories along the way. Remember, sometimes “we’ll get there when we get there” is exactly the mindset you need. For anyone planning to hike Gloria Falls, preparing mentally for that final climb is just as crucial as physical readiness. Hydration, pacing yourself, and taking breaks to soak in the scenery can make the last steps more manageable. And when you reach the falls, the sense of accomplishment and the stunning view make every hard step worth it. I encourage fellow nature lovers and adventure seekers to embrace the challenge and find their own clarity on this trail. There’s something uniquely rejuvenating about moving your body in such a serene environment. This is truly a way to pour back into yourself, filling your cup and reminding yourself of your resilience and strength.
