Even when life feels a little dark and gloomy, keep your heart and mind open to God’s signs around you. ❤️‍🩹

Science tells us trauma can be passed from one generation to the next. But I believe God can turn that into an opportunity—to heal what was never healed, bring truth to what was left in the dark, and choose differently moving forward.

As humans, we want to feel important. Seen. Heard. Like our lives mean something. And sometimes, without realizing it, that desire turns into ego and pride.

That’s exactly where I found myself—wanting so badly to make a difference while silently tearing myself apart inside.

Then my supervisor said something so simple:

“You are exactly who you believe you are, right Cee?”

And whew. 🥹

It felt like God reminding me to pay attention to the way I speak to myself.

Their faults were never mine to carry.

Their choices don’t have to become my identity.

And the things I’ve been through don’t have to become the things I pass on.

Maybe some of these moments are simply life lessons—God shedding light on places that have been dark for far too long.

There’s only ONE you.

So even when you feel like you’re not enough, remember: God may see you as exactly who He needs for what He’s calling you to do.

Keep going. Keep listening. Keep your heart open.

Because you can’t hear what your heart isn’t open to receive. 🫶🏽

I love you. Happy Friday, luvvies. 😘

... Read moreReflecting on my own journey, I've realized that healing from trauma passed down through generations is deeply spiritual as much as it is psychological. Trauma doesn’t have to define us or our futures; with faith and conscious effort, it can become a catalyst for growth and transformation. Staying open to the signs that God sends—even in moments of darkness—helps me reframe painful experiences as lessons rather than lifelong curses. One powerful practice I’ve found helpful is pausing daily to check in with my inner dialogue. God’s reminder to pay attention to how we speak to ourselves is essential; self-compassion replaces the harsh judgments that often stem from past wounds. When I catch myself carrying others’ faults or internalizing choices that never belonged to me, I consciously release those weights. This shift frees up mental and emotional space to heal and move forward with peace. I also believe that each of us is uniquely designed for a purpose that transcends our struggles. This belief fuels my resilience and motivates me to keep listening to my heart’s gentle nudges, even when I feel overwhelmed. Opening your heart to receive love, guidance, and hope can transform the narrative of "not enough" into one of divine sufficiency. Life's lessons, illuminated by God’s light, continually invite us to choose differently and live authentically. Ultimately, healing is not linear. Some days are hard; others spark breakthroughs. But leaning into faith and remaining open-hearted creates space for miracles—both big and small. If you are walking a similar path, know that you are not alone, and your story is meaningful. Keep going, keep listening, keep your heart open, because in that openness lies the power to reclaim your identity and thrive.
