Planning our engagement photoshoot was such an exciting part of our journey to becoming a 2026 bride! I wanted photos that truly captured our love story, and I couldn't be happier with the results. My tip for other couples is to choose colors that pop but don't clash with your surroundings, and most importantly, wear something that makes you feel confident and comfortable! It really shows in the photos. Our photographer was amazing at guiding us through different poses, ensuring we captured a variety of moments. We got some breathtaking shots on the marble staircase, with me sitting gracefully below and him standing tall. There were also intimate moments leaning against the railing and marble pillars, truly capturing our connection and affection. Don't be afraid to get close and be yourselves! We loved the photos where he affectionately kissed my neck, and those quiet embraces against the pillars. These natural, loving interactions make the photos feel so genuine and personal. And of course, we had to get those essential engagement hand pics! My ring is just sparkling, and the close-up shot of my hand with us kissing in the blurred background is one of my absolute favorites. It’s such a beautiful way to highlight the symbol of our commitment. Make sure your photographer gets a few different angles of your ring, perhaps with your hands intertwined or playfully holding hands. These shots are so precious and truly capture the excitement of your engagement. We also decided to incorporate our 'Save the Date' announcement directly into one of our photos, revealing our wedding date as August 22, 2026. It felt so personal and fun to share it this way.
