Stinkbugged 🤢
Pistachio gnawed on a stinkbug this morning and was making a face/licking himself like crazy! I flung the poor thing outside and figure that Stache learned a lesson that he maybe shouldn’t try to eat everything he comes across, but he was immediately back at the scene of the crime to try to find it 😂
He sat in the tunnel for a while afterwards to reflect on his criminal activities… we now call it the Poop Tube, in order for the beans’ to use the litter box they first have to traverse the cat tunnel!
Cats are naturally curious creatures, and their adventures often lead to entertaining scenarios like the one Pistachio experienced. Many cat owners can relate to the moments when their pets attempt to consume anything they find, from bugs to toys. This encounter not only highlights the whimsical nature of pets but also serves as a reminder of the importance of monitoring their behaviors. Understanding feline behavior can enhance the bond between pet and owner. For instance, yes curious cats often go after insects, it’s crucial to ensure that what they consume is safe. Some insects can be toxic to cats, so it's wise to supervise their playtime. Creating a safe and stimulating environment with plenty of toys can redirect their curiosity away from potentially harmful items. Furthermore, the integration of new and interactive play tools can keep cats entertained while reducing their interest in chasing bugs. Engaging your pet with feather wands or puzzle toys encourages physical activity and mental stimulation. After all, a well-exercised cat is less likely to engage in mischief such as hunting bugs. If you’re a cat lover, remember that each quirky behavior, like the infamous Poop Tube escape route for litter box access, can be amusing stories that deepen our appreciation for these unique companions.
