Biggest fear in life
One of my biggest fears in life is standing before Jesus on the last day and hearing Him say, “Depart from me, I never knew you.” Imagine believing you were living for Him—going to church, serving, even spreading the Word—only to realize you were really living for yourself, lying to yourself, and missing the mark completely. It’s a sobering thought that reminds me daily of the importance of examining my heart and my motives.
Am I truly living for Christ, or am I caught up in appearances and self-deception? This fear isn’t about shame or doubt; it’s about accountability and humility. It’s a prayerful reminder that salvation isn’t just about doing “good things” but about knowing Him, walking in obedience, and living a life surrendered to His will.
I pray that we all live for Him with genuine hearts, seeking to glorify Him in all we do, so that when the day comes, we’ll hear the words we long for: “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Let’s press forward together, keeping our eyes on Jesus and living with eternity in mind.
