When I Go Out….

2025/7/28 Edited to

... Read moreWhen I say, 'I want to go out,' it often conjures up images of bustling bars, loud music, or packed clubs for many. But for me, what I mean by 'I want to go out' is something entirely different. It’s a feeling, a craving for a specific kind of experience that truly recharges my soul and aligns with my personal #aestheticlifestyle. It’s about seeking out moments of #calm and genuine connection, not just escaping the house. Let me explain. An 'outing meaning' for me isn't always about a wild night. Sometimes, it’s a serene afternoon spent wandering through an art gallery, soaking in the beauty and finding inspiration. Other times, it’s discovering a new, cozy coffee shop with the perfect lighting for reading a book, or simply enjoying a long, unhurried brunch with a friend where we can actually hear each other talk. These are my ideal 'going out' moments. A significant part of my 'going out' vibe often involves a specific kind of 'ladies night.' It’s less about dancing until dawn and more about intimate conversations over good food and wine, sharing laughs, and truly connecting on a deeper level. It might be a pottery painting class, a wine tasting event, or even just a beautifully set-up dinner at home with my closest girlfriends. It’s about quality time that makes me feel seen and understood. And yes, sometimes 'going out' even translates to my #liftingmotivation. It could be heading to the gym for a focused workout, followed by a delicious, healthy meal I didn't have to cook. It's an outing that contributes to my well-being, rather than depleting it. It’s about investing in myself. So, if you often find yourself saying 'I want to go out' but feel disappointed when others suggest typical nightlife, you're not alone! It’s important to define what an 'outing' truly means to *you*. Take a moment to reflect: What activities genuinely make you feel alive, refreshed, and content? Is it exploring a new park, visiting a local market, attending a quiet workshop, or perhaps a solo movie matinee? Don't be afraid to communicate your unique definition of 'going out' to your friends. You might find they appreciate the suggestion for something different, or you might inspire them to explore their own alternative outing ideas. Embracing your personal 'going out' style is a form of self-care. It’s about creating experiences that truly resonate with your inner self, rather than trying to fit into someone else's idea of fun. So next time you feel that urge to 'go out,' ask yourself: what kind of outing will truly nourish my spirit today?
