MY BOTTLE STATION 🍼
as an exclusively formula feeding mom, i obviously have ALOT of bottles. just about 2 days worth, you know just incase i get lazy with the dishes. some are currently out of commission because nipples ripped and i can’t replace them at the moment. rip 🪦
heres my thoughts on the bottles i have used (with my baby) ;
🍼dr browns wide neck; this is the one i have the most of and i actually hate them. i loved them at first but i started realizing my daughter cant latch well with them, she makes a mess because the level 1 is still sooo fast???.. and every. single. time. she ends up with hiccups regardless of how much she burps.
🍼dr browns standard; i had one 4oz bottle and there wasnt as much issue but the nipple was soo small my daughter was basically swallowing the whole thing, even as a young newborn, it also took her forever to drink (assuming) because its such an uncomfortable latch.
🍼phillips avent airfree; i LOVED these bottles. even at a level 2 my daughter had no issue with them from birth, occasionally a little messy, but it seems like she has a comfortable latch. sadly 2 out of 3 of the nipples ripped very early, one being my mistake, so im not able to use them very often.
🍼boon nursh; i actually love this bottle, i thought it was weird and gimmicky at first and didn’t use it but now im regretting not just getting these bottles from the start. i was gifted 1 while i was pregnant and now ill be buying them to replace bottles when they break down. plus they pack SMALL! you only need 1 plastic shell and you can have multiple clean bottles, just get the extra inserts & nipples.
🍼nuk; i stopped using these soooooo fast. idk what it was about them but my daughter CONSTANTLY collapsed the nipple. it made feeds stressful on me and her.

And honestly, my dishwasher below the counter is my best friend for sanitizing a big batch of bottles at once, freeing up precious time. Don't forget a good bottle brush and a small drying mat for those quick hand washes! When it comes to baby bottle storage ideas, I've learned a few tricks to keep everything tidy. Inside our cabinet, I've dedicated specific shelves for different bottle types. For example, my Dr. Brown's wide neck bottles, Philips Avent AirFree, and Boon Nursh bottles each have their own space. This prevents a chaotic jumble and makes it easy to grab exactly what I need without rummaging. I also use a white basket to store all the smaller bottle parts like nipples, caps, and rings. This keeps them from getting lost or scattered, which is a common frustration! For Boon Nursh users, storing the flexible inserts separately in a small container can save space and keep them hygienic. Setting up your baby bottle station doesn't have to be complicated. Think about your workflow. Where do you mix formula? Where do you wash? Having your can of Similac formula (or whatever brand you use) within easy reach is another simple but effective tip. For me, it’s all about creating a system that minimizes steps and maximizes convenience. If you’re like me and have about two days' worth of bottles on hand, good organization is key to making sure you always have a clean bottle ready. This setup has truly transformed my feeding routine, making it much smoother and less overwhelming. I started off with Dr. Brown’s bottles my LO also struggled with level 1 and had the same experience as your baby. I switched all the nipples to “premie” surprisingly it helped with her gas.
