The Housemaid series

I am currently on Book 2 of The Housemaid series by Freida McFadden!

I am obsessed with her writing lately. This is my 7th Freida book so far.

What other Authors with similar genres do you recommend? Are you a Freida McFadden fan as well? Lastly, if you have read any books of hers- which did you like and which book do you not like? Was there any you DNF’d?

... Read moreOh my goodness, fellow bookworms, I just had to share my current literary obsession! If you haven't yet dived into The Housemaid series by Freida McFadden, what are you waiting for?! I'm currently deep into Book 2, and let me tell you, this series is absolutely Worth the Hype. I'm officially on my seventh Freida McFadden book, and I can confidently say she's become one of my auto-buy authors. Her ability to craft such twisty, unputdownable psychological thrillers is just unparalleled. For anyone wondering about The Housemaid series in order to read, it's super straightforward. There are three fantastic books in total, and you definitely want to read them chronologically to get the full impact of the story and all those incredible twists! Here’s the housemaid book series order to read: The Housemaid: This is where it all begins. Millie, a young woman with a troubled past, gets a job as a live-in housemaid for the wealthy Winchester family. But their perfect life hides dark secrets, and Millie soon finds herself caught in a web of deceit and danger. The ending of this book completely blew my mind! The Housemaid's Secret: Picking up after the events of the first book, this sequel delves even deeper into Millie's new life and the ethical dilemmas she faces. It expands the world and introduces new characters while keeping that signature Freida McFadden suspense. I'm Currently Reading this one and it's just as gripping as the first! The Housemaid Is Watching: The final installment (so far!) brings the trilogy to a thrilling close. Without giving too much away, expect more shocking revelations and a conclusion that will leave you reeling. I'm already anticipating finishing Book 2 so I can jump straight into this one. If you're like me and can't get enough of Freida McFadden's style – those shocking twists, unreliable narrators, and fast-paced plots – then you might be searching for authors with similar genres. I've found that if you love Freida, you'll likely enjoy authors like Ashley Audrain (for intense domestic thrillers), Ruth Ware (for atmospheric whodunits), and Shari Lapena (for more twisty psychological suspense). They all have that knack for keeping you on the edge of your seat! And speaking of Freida, I'm always curious to hear what other fans think. Which of her books did you absolutely love? I know for me, picking a favorite is tough because she consistently delivers, but The Silent Patient and The Inmate are definitely up there. Have you ever read one of hers that you just couldn't get into, or even DNF'd? I haven't DNF'd any myself, but I'm open to hearing different perspectives! Let's chat all things Freida and psychological thrillers in the comments below!

I’m thinking about getting the first one on audiobook. I’m training for a marathon and I have lots of time to listen.
