Many of you asked about my home barista skills, and let me tell you, whipping up a delicious drink is one of my favorite ways to unwind. I love experimenting with different flavors, especially for mocktails. Here’s a super simple, refreshing mocktail recipe I enjoy: Sparkling Berry Citrus Refresher: 1/2 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen) Juice of 1/2 a lime 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey (adjust to taste) Top with sparkling water or lemon-lime soda Garnish with a lime slice and a few extra berries. It’s perfect for a relaxing evening! As a self-proclaimed 'book girly,' I'm always on the hunt for my next great read. While I adore psychological thrillers that keep me guessing, and romance novels that sweep me off my feet, I’m truly open to anything with a compelling story. A few recent favorites that I couldn't put down were 'The Silent Patient' for thrillers and anything by Emily Henry for romance. What are your must-read recommendations? I'd love to add them to my ever-growing list! And of course, I have to gush about Daphne, my adorable mini golden doodle. She’s truly the best puppy in the world, full of boundless energy and cuddles. It's amazing how my career as a 911 dispatcher has actually helped me in unexpected ways with my creative pursuits. It’s taught me to stay calm under pressure, be super organized, and appreciate every small moment of joy. This focus helps me manage my time for content creation, even when I'm tired. When I'm taking a moment for myself, perhaps snapping a quick mirror selfie in my green top, reflecting my phone to capture the perfect shot for a post, it’s a tiny act of self-care and a step towards my creative dreams.
