Cleaning Up Our Eating Habits 🥦🥝🍇

Good morning y’all!!! So my husband and I decided we want to adopt a cleaner diet for our household. We’re cutting out red meat, pork, & cutting back on processed foods. I went to Publix & everything you see here was $95! We have a family of 4 (7 every other weekend). Do y’all have any suggestions on how to make clean eating budget friendly?

To save money, consider shopping in bulk for items like beans, rice, and oats, which can be great replacements for processed foods. Planning meals ahead of time helps minimize waste and reduces impulsive buying during shopping trips. Regularly check for seasonal produce in your local market, as these items are usually more affordable and fresher. Don't forget to investigate local farmer's markets, which often provide organic produce at lower prices than conventional stores. In addition to budgeting tips, it’s beneficial to explore various recipes that emphasize clean eating. For instance, creating a weekly menu that features diverse ingredients can prevent monotony and enhance family meals. Engaging your family in the cooking process not only makes it a fun activity but also educates them on healthy eating habits. Marketing buzzwords can sometimes inflate food prices; thus, researching and reading labels is crucial to making economical and healthy food choices. With these strategies, clean eating can indeed be a fulfilling and cost-effective journey.

Also I recommend going to a farmers or fruit market to get veggies and fruits way cheaper than the traditional store
