ELEVATION MEAL BAR: it wasn’t chalky tasting or dry at all. I actually enjoyed this right before my workout. Very good flavoring as well.
ELEVATION PROTEIN SHAKE: sooo thick, I wanted to try it and it tasted like I was drinking yogurt. Not a big fan but, that’s just my opinion. I also did not really like the taste.
BREKKI: super good!! There is coconut and almonds in it along with chai seeds and I really liked all of it together. It’s a little expensive for just one but worth the money.
THAI COCONUT CHICKEN: has a little bit of a kick to it. I enjoyed it and will be buying it again.
PULLED BEEF BRISKET: the best thing I purchased!! It is so very good on bread or even by its self. I paired it with green beans and it was delicious.

... Read moreSince discovering ALDI, my grocery runs have become a treasure hunt for affordable and delicious protein options! Many of you search for 'ALDI Elevation Protein Bars,' and I'm here to spill the tea on my experience, especially after that incredible strawberry-flavored one I found.
When I first picked up the ELEVATION MEAL BAR, I honestly wasn't expecting much. Protein bars can sometimes be a hit or miss – often dry, chalky, or with an artificial aftertaste. But this one? It was a game-changer! The specific strawberry flavor I tried (it was clearly a winner, rating 10/10 on my scale!) was incredibly palatable. It had a smooth texture, not at all dry, which made it genuinely enjoyable. What really caught my eye, and why I consider it a staple now, was its nutritional profile. Looking at the packaging, it clearly listed a good amount of protein and fiber, making it a fantastic choice for a quick energy boost. I found it perfect as a pre-workout snack, giving me sustained energy without feeling heavy. If you're looking for an 'ALDI Elevation Protein Bar' that actually tastes good and delivers on its promises, definitely keep an eye out for this one. It's a solid buy and I've already repurchased it multiple times.
Now, while the bars were a definite win, I have to be honest about the ELEVATION PROTEIN SHAKE. I was hoping for another easy protein solution, but this one didn't quite hit the mark for me. It was incredibly thick, almost like drinking a very thin yogurt, and the vanilla flavor just wasn't appealing. Despite its promises of high protein and low sugar, the taste factor was a deal-breaker. So, if you're exploring the Elevation line at ALDI, my personal advice would be to lean towards the bars over the shakes based on my experience.
Beyond the Elevation line, ALDI has some other fantastic protein-rich items worth mentioning. The BREKKI Ready-to-Eat Oats were another pleasant surprise. The specific dark chocolate one I tried, in particular, was absolutely delicious. What’s even better is that it's dairy-free, non-GMO, gluten-free, and vegan – ticking so many boxes for different dietary needs. The mix of coconut, almonds, and chai seeds (and that rich dark chocolate!) creates a really satisfying breakfast or snack. Yes, it might seem a little pricey for a single serving, but the quality and convenience make it totally worth the splurge in my opinion.
And for quick, high-protein meals, I can't rave enough about the prepared options. The Pulled Beef Brisket was genuinely the best thing I bought that day! It was tender, flavorful, and incredibly versatile. I loved it simply on its own, but it also made an amazing sandwich filler, especially paired with some fresh green beans. It got a perfect 10/10 from me! The Thai Coconut Chicken also had a really nice flavor with a bit of a kick, making it a great option for a fast dinner when I'm short on time.
So, next time you're at ALDI, keep an eye out for these protein gems! From the surprisingly delicious Elevation protein bars to convenient oats and hearty prepared meals, there are plenty of options to support your healthy lifestyle without breaking the bank.
