Taste of Soul Food Festival
This past weekend I got to check out the Taste of Soul Food Festival in Huntsville, Alabama. There were a lot of food trucks and vendors! It was so hard to pick which food truck to try! It was definitely a great event for some family fun!
I’m trying to be outside this spring & summer! 🤪 what are y’all’s plans? ❤️

Attending the Taste of Soul Food Festival in Huntsville was an incredible experience that goes beyond just enjoying great food. The festival brings together a community passionate about soul food, from classic dishes to innovative twists served by various food trucks like Tim Tim's Fry Wagon and others possibly from South Birmingham. What stood out to me was the variety – whether you crave crispy fried delights or vegan options, there was something to satisfy every palette. It was a great way to spend quality time outdoors with family and friends, soaking in the lively atmosphere and sharing bites of rich, flavorful dishes. The festival also highlighted local vendors, which adds a special touch of community spirit and supports small businesses. For anyone looking to embrace soul food culture or simply seeking a fun family outing during spring and summer, this festival offers not just amazing food but a chance to connect and create lasting memories. If you plan to visit next time, I recommend arriving hungry and ready to try multiple vendors. Don’t miss the chance to sample unique offerings like the famous fries from Tim Tim's Fry Wagon or explore lesser-known gems. Plus, being outdoors at a festival with a casual, friendly vibe makes the food taste even better. It's events like these that remind me how food can bring people together, invigorate local culture, and provide a joyful way to enjoy the seasons.
