Rating my apple products🍎

After years of being an Apple loyalist, I've seen quite a few iPhones and iPads come and go. It's funny how you build a relationship with your tech, isn't it? While I absolutely adore the sleek design and seamless ecosystem Apple offers, I've often found myself wondering if their premium price tag truly matches the longevity. I mean, I expect a device to last more than two years without developing some kind of quirk or a major issue, especially with how much we invest in them! Thinking back to my first iPhone, the iPhone 6S Plus, it was revolutionary for its size, but I quickly encountered screen issues. That's a recurring theme, honestly. My subsequent iPhone 8 had an absolutely excellent camera, which was a huge leap, but by then I was already eyeing the 'Plus' models for better battery. Then came the vibrant iPhone 11 and iPhone 13, both with beautiful cameras and impressive durability against drops for a while. However, even these developed their own quirks – the iPhone 11 had its own set of screen woes, and my iPhone 13 eventually developed a frustrating charger port issue. It makes you wonder if it's just bad luck or a design flaw that accumulates over time. It's not just iPhones either. My iPad (10th Gen), with its gorgeous yellow color and large screen, has been a lifesaver for school and content creation. The amazing battery life on that one is a standout, and it feels like a really solid investment. It actually gives me hope for future Apple products like the rumored iPhone 16! If it truly delivers on its promise of a gorgeous camera with a new button, Apple Intelligence, and an even more amazing battery life, maybe we're finally seeing a return to that uncompromised quality I remember from earlier days. So, after all these experiences, what have I learned? Firstly, invest in a good case and screen protector from day one. Seriously, it pays off. Secondly, be mindful of charging habits; constantly keeping your phone at 100% or letting it completely drain can degrade the battery faster. I've also found that regularly clearing out old apps and files helps keep the device running smoother, potentially extending its usable life. While I've had my share of issues, I still find myself drawn back to Apple, partly because the ecosystem is so convenient and partly because, when they work perfectly, nothing else quite compares. It's a love-hate relationship, but mostly love! Ultimately, reviewing my Apple journey makes me realize that while the initial 'wow' factor is always there, the long-term experience can be a mixed bag. The advancements in camera technology, like the portrait mode I loved on my iPhone 11, or the overall user experience, are undeniable. But the niggling issues with screens or charger ports are real. It's about weighing those incredible features against the practicalities of a device that ideally should last you for years. Are they perfect? No. Are they still worth it for me? Mostly yes, but I'm always hoping for that truly indestructible, long-lasting iPhone experience!
