This isn’t science fiction—it’s confirmed by experiments with precise atomic clocks flown on airplanes. Even GPS satellites rely on adjustments for time dilation to provide accurate location data. Understanding time dilation also helps explain fascinating phenomena like black holes, where the gravity is so strong that time almost stands still near their event horizon. It can feel mind-bending at first, but breaking it down with real-world examples and applications makes it more relatable.
