Habits That Changed My Life

🧘🏻‍♀️Habit 1: Music for podcasts.

👉🏽 How It Helps Me: Switching from music to podcasts added an enriching layer to my routine, combining entertainment with opportunities for learning and personal growth.

🧘🏻‍♀️ Habit 2: Doom scrolling for uplifting posts.

👉🏽 How It Helps Me: Consuming uplifting content helped improve my mental well-being by reducing stress, anxiety, and feelings of overwhelm associated with doom scrolling. When I made a conscious shift toward uplifting content on social media, I noticed a significant positive impact on my overall well-being and mindset. This also helped contribute to a clearer headspace when waking up!

🧘🏻‍♀️ Habit 3: Asking myself rather than asking others.

👉🏽 How It Helps Me: This was a BIG one for me, as I grew up with very low confidence from adults constantly telling me what was best for me. When I started to ask myself what I wanted or liked, it encouraged self-reflection, leading to a better understanding of my own preferences, values, and personal identity. Taking the initiative to ask myself empowered me to make choices based on my own needs and aspirations, fostering a sense of autonomy that I was missing in my life. This self-awareness enhanced the quality of my experiences, relationships, and overall life, as my decisions began to align with my preferences.

🧘🏻‍♀️ Habit 4: Intentional activity instead of binge watching tv.

👉🏽 How It Helps Me: Engaging in intentional activities required my active participation and mindfulness, giving my mind a break from passive consumption. The more I practiced this switch, I noticed positive changes towards my personal development, growth and mood.
