need my hair to be down my back by the end of the year 🙂‍↕️ @Briogeo scalp revival shampoo @Palmer's hair polisher serum @As I Am double butter cream

2/23 Edited to

... Read moreI used to struggle a lot with my hair breaking off and having choppy, thin ends where you could see through. At first, I didn’t really wash my hair often—maybe once or twice a month—and I thought less washing meant healthier hair. Over time, I learned that changing how often I wash and blow dry my hair made a big difference. Now, I wash and blow dry it weekly, which might sound like a lot, but it actually helps with moisture absorption and scalp health for my hair type. One game-changer for me was switching to Briogeo Charcoal + Coconut Oil Scalp Revival Shampoo. This shampoo detoxifies the scalp, getting rid of buildup that I never realized was holding my hair back. It strengthens hair strands and even reveals my true curl pattern without weighing it down. I especially like that when I scratch my scalp after using it, I can feel debris coming off, which tells me it’s really cleaning deeply. To combat split ends and keep my hair strong, the As I Am Double Butter Cream has been amazing. It’s rich and moisturizing, which helps prevent breakage and promotes shiny, healthy strands. I usually apply it right after washing as part of my moisturizing routine. Finally, I seal in all that moisture with Palmer’s Coconut Oil Hair Polisher Serum. It not only helps with frizz control but also locks in the benefits from the moisturizer, giving my hair a smooth finish that lasts all day. At first, I was wary of using heat tools like blow dryers, fearing they would damage my hair. But I found that, for my hair type, blow drying actually helps the moisture penetrate better when done carefully. I always use a heat protectant and keep the temperature moderate to avoid heat damage. My hair journey took some trial and error, but these products combined with a consistent routine truly helped me grow my hair longer, thicker, and healthier. If you’re struggling with hair breakage or length retention, changing your wash frequency, using a detoxifying shampoo, and locking in moisture can make a big difference. Give it some time and patience, and you’ll start seeing your hair transform too!
