Cucumber Melon Scent Routine

Hey guys! I have another scent routine to share! Unfortunately it’s kinda boring because I did something similar last year but I love this scent and didn’t wanna skip it. To start I used the Cucumber body scrub from VS PINK. Then I used the Cucumber Melon body wash. I love it so much and it’s one of the only body washes I have that leaves my whole bathroom smelling like it after my shower which I love. Then I used the Cucumber body serum in lieu of body oil. Then I went in with the matching Cucumber Melon body cream and body mist. For perfume I picked Missing Person by Phlur. The notes don’t match at all but I was in a rush and had a feeling it would be a nice combination and it is! It doesn’t sound like it would be but I actually got complimented on it earlier today! I’m pretty sure this was my first time wearing Missing Person and I’d love to get the matching body wash and lotion of it! LMK what you think and what I should try next!!

... Read moreHey scent lovers! You know that feeling when you step out of the shower smelling absolutely incredible and that freshness lasts all day? That's exactly what I aim for with my fragrance routines, and my current Cucumber Melon obsession is hitting all the right notes for summer! It's such a bright, clean, and subtly sweet aroma that just makes me feel instantly refreshed. I've seen so many of you asking about how to make your favorite scents really *perform*, and it all starts with layering. For a scent like Cucumber Melon, which can be light and airy, building it up is key. I always begin with a good body scrub – like the one from VS PINK I mentioned, which often contains refreshing ingredients like cucumber water or hyaluronic acid. Exfoliating first creates a smooth canvas, allowing subsequent products to absorb better and make the scent cling to your skin for longer. Next up, a fantastic body wash is non-negotiable. My Cucumber Melon body wash, often enriched with pro vitamin B5 and aloe, doesn't just cleanse; it infuses my entire bathroom with that gorgeous scent! That's how you know it's a good one – when the fragrance truly projects. After rinsing, don't forget a body serum. These lighter formulas, sometimes packed with hyaluronic acid, are perfect for an extra boost of hydration without feeling heavy, and they create another layer for your scent. Then, I seal it all in with a rich body cream. The ultimate hydration body creams, often promising 24-hour moisture, are amazing for locking in the scent from your wash and serum while providing deep nourishment. For the final touch, a fine fragrance mist is great for an all-over burst of scent right out of the shower. But for true longevity and depth, combining it with an eau de parfum is where the magic happens. I know my original routine mentioned a slightly unexpected pairing with Phlur Missing Person, and that’s the beauty of experimenting! Sometimes the notes you think won't work together create the most unique and complimented aroma. Speaking of Cucumber Melon, I often get asked about the differences between brands like Victoria's Secret and Bath & Body Works. Both offer amazing takes on this classic scent! While my current routine heavily features VS PINK, I've definitely enjoyed Bath & Body Works' cucumber melon spray and body care in the past. Generally, I find VS PINK can sometimes lean a little fruitier, while Bath & Body Works often has a slightly greener, more aquatic cucumber note. It really comes down to personal preference, so if you're exploring, try both! They both excel at creating that fresh, invigorating cucumber scent that's just perfect for daily wear. To make any scent last, here are a few extra tips: Apply your products to damp skin right after showering to lock in moisture and fragrance. Don't rub your wrists together after applying perfume – it breaks down the scent molecules. And consider spraying a little mist on your hair or clothes (just be careful with delicate fabrics!) for an extra scent cloud. I hope these tips help you create your own long-lasting, delicious scent routines! What are your go-to layering hacks for fresh scents? I'd love to hear them! #scentroutine #fragrancetips #cucumbermelon
