4th Anniversary Scent Routine 💘
Hey guys, so yesterday was me and my bf’s 4th anniversary!! It feels like yesterday we started dating but it also feels like forever ago lol. Anyway, I wanted to do something special for our day so let’s get into it. For body wash, I used the Method Pure Peace body wash. It has notes of peony, rose water, and pink sea salt notes. I literally got a little mini size at Ulta last week because it was the cheapest option I could find for a floral peony body wash haha. After the shower, I used the Bombshell body oil from Victoria’s Secret! I. Love. This. Oil. First of all, it’s not greasy or runny and absorbs so fast. Second, it does have shimmer but the shimmer is really fine so you won’t have chunky glitter all over your house which is a huge ick for me. VS/PINK KNOWS how to do shimmer the right way, I’ll always trust them with shimmer lol. Third, the scent is gorgeous of course but also SO STRONG. That’s the exact level of scent I want in a body oil. Lastly, the bottle is really pretty. Now I believe they redid the packaging since I got this one…and while the packaging mine came in is so pretty with the gold cap, gold label, sparkly pink oil and glass bottle, I will say that it’s lowkey hard to get out of the bottle. So repackaging is probably for the best but this packaging is just so aesthetic. Then I used the Bombshell lotion. I think they were redoing the packaging for the whole original Bombshell line because when I was getting these, I could only find minis. Which is fine, it’s a little cheaper and less waste but I did want the big aesthetic bottles lol. For body mist I used the little mini Bombshell mist. The perfume I used came with the mini lotion and it’s a mini version of the full bottle, like it’s shaped like the big bottle if that makes sense. It does have a sprayer though which I’m happy about cuz I find a lot of mini perfumes that look like the big bottles either have a rollerball or just a hole you dump out onto your wrist which I hate. I wore lipstick (Posie K velvet lip kit from Kylie Cosmetics) yesterday for our date but the lip balm I picked after I took the lipstick off is the Beauty Bio Sparkling Rosé one because it’s so pretty and pink and the body wash I used has a rose note anyway lol. That’s all for this routine!! The notes on paper give spring vibes but the scent, at least on me, comes across with a lot of citrus which makes it feel summery. My bf liked it but honestly I don’t think it’s his favorite of all my smells lol. I’m obsessed with it though. LMK what you think!!
