Matcha Latte Scent Routine🍵⋆˚𝜗𝜚˚⋆

Hey guys, I’m super late but this is my last spring routine of 2026! Which is insane. Anyway, I saved the best for last with this one. For body wash I used the Wrapped up in Matcha one. I got the mini version from Ulta on Black Friday and I’m so glad I did because I had been looking for a matcha body wash for the longest time. For body oil I used the PrettiestGrl body nectar in the scent Sweet Cream because what else would be perfect for a latte of any kind inspired fragrance. For lotion, I honestly didn’t know what to do because I don’t have a matcha lotion so I just picked the Tree Hut Sweet Cream one which I love and I’m so glad they brought it back and made a scrub of it too. Once I use up some of the scrubs I have I plan on getting that one lol. For body mist of course I used the Phlur Matcha Milk one. It’s so good, it’s literally what I would hope a matcha scent would be but it’s definitely not just a clean matcha. It definitely has the MILK aspect which is why it works so well for a matcha latte routine. I’ve been so excited to use it!! I also wanted to use the Vanilla Vibezzz body mist to have a really creamy accent along with it. For perfume I used the Kayali Musk Matcha one; I also have the Nette ‘Thé Vanille’ perfume which has a matcha note but as far as it reading like matcha, the Kayali was a better decision. Lastly for lip balm I used the Laneige Lip Glowy Balm in Matcha Bubble Tea. That’s all for this one and the last for spring 2026!

I recently embarked on my own journey to assemble a collection that truly captures the essence of the matcha latte experience, from fresh green tea notes to sugary, milky sweetness. One of the hardest parts was finding products that didn’t lean too heavily on just the green tea scent but also brought in that creamy, cozy vibe. For instance, the Phlur Matcha Milk Hair & Body Mist is a standout because it combines the earthy freshness of matcha with a subtle milkiness, which perfectly mimics the actual drink. This layered scent feeling really makes the routine special. To add another dimension of creaminess and warmth, I paired it with a vanilla-based mist similar to the Josie Maran Vanilla Vibezzz, which complements without overpowering, creating a latte-like harmony. When it comes to body oils and lotions, selecting sweet cream aromas brings in that silky texture aspect. The PrettiestGrl Sweet Cream body nectar and Tree Hut’s body lotion really helped me build that tender and moisturizing element to the routine—your skin feels velvety and hydrated, enhancing the sensory indulgence aligned with a latte theme. Perfumes are sometimes tricky because you want the matcha note to feel realistic yet wearable. I enjoyed Kayali Musk Matcha, which offered a deeper, musky undertone along with the green tea freshness — excellent for those who desire a more sophisticated scent journey beyond the lighter mists. Meanwhile, lip balms like Laneige’s Matcha Bubble Tea not only add softness but reinforce the matcha motif with a playful, nourishing twist. This whole scent routine isn’t just about smelling good; it’s a ritual that can transform your mood, reminding me of cozy coffee shop moments and springtime comfort. Trying to find limited edition and cruelty-free options added fun and purpose to my search, enhancing the joy of each application. If you love matcha and creamy fragrances, building such a routine can be incredibly rewarding and refreshing, just like the first sip of a perfect latte on a cool spring morning.
