It's so exciting to share a bit more about my world beyond just a quick intro! Many of you might know me as Jes, and yes, I've spent the last seven years as a Registered Dental Assistant. It's a field I've truly enjoyed, helping people feel confident with their smiles. But my passion for beauty extends far beyond oral health! I've always been fascinated by makeup and how it can empower people and enhance natural features. That's why I recently took the leap to become a permanent cosmetics student – it feels like a natural progression, merging the precision and attention to detail from dentistry with my creative side in the beauty industry. I'm learning so much about microblading, lip blush, and other techniques, and I can't wait to share my journey, favorite products, and practical tips as I progress. Maybe I’ll even share a behind-the-scenes look at my learning process! When I'm not assisting teeth or perfecting brows, you'll often find me exploring new places. Traveling is definitely one of my biggest joys, and I'm always looking for my next adventure. Vegas holds a special place in my heart; there’s an energy there that’s just unmatched, whether it's catching a spectacular show, trying new restaurants with incredible cuisine, or just soaking in the vibrant atmosphere. I love discovering unique fashion boutiques and home decor shops wherever I go, always looking for inspiration. My goal is to explore even more cities and countries, bringing back ideas for my beauty work, my personal style, and even some cooking inspiration. I’m hoping to share some of my favorite travel hacks and must-visit spots with you all soon. And of course, I can't talk about my life without mentioning my furry best friend, Scrappy! My one-year-old mini schnauzer is truly the light of my life. He's got such a playful personality and keeps me on my toes with his boundless energy. Owning a mini schnauzer has been an amazing experience; they're so smart, loyal, and full of character. We love going for walks and exploring local parks in Arkansas, and he's always ready for an adventure. I'm also a big fan of cooking up new recipes for friends and family, and discovering new music – often while Scrappy naps peacefully beside me. It’s all about continuous learning and personal growth, whether it’s mastering a new beauty technique, experimenting in the kitchen, or just enjoying quiet moments at home. I'm excited to share practical insights, from beauty routines and product reviews to fun travel itineraries and even some heartwarming Scrappy stories, with all of you here on Lemon8.
