Mix slowly until combined
Store in fridge for extra itch relief
did anyone else feel like a dried up raisin this winter??? Ugh it was SO DRY. My 6 month old suffered the worst. The poor baby had incredibly dry skin and eczema patches all over his belly and back. I wanted to cry for him. I could tell he was uncomfortable, but we just couldn’t get it under control!
When I tell you we tried EVERYTHING I mean it… it got so bad I ended up taking him to his pediatrician who put him on a low dose prescription strength hydrocortisone cream. Did it help? Absolutely. In my gut I knew this stuff was just too harsh long term on his new and sensitive baby skin. Plus the dry patches always ended up coming back after a few days. Call me scrunchy but I just didn’t feel right putting a steroid on my BABY.
A friend sent me this “recipe” and I was a little skeptical I’m not going to lie. Considering we use Aquaphor everyday anyways… I figured what’s the worst that would happen. Well, I saw a difference in my babies skin literally overnight!
If you try it let me know if it’s magic for your baby too!
Xoxo,
A scrunchy mom 🖤
