Maker of heaven and earth..

Reflecting on God's sovereignty reminds me how often we feel tempted to intervene or try to influence outcomes in our lives, thinking we need to help God in His plans. However, the truth expressed in Acts 17:25, which says God "doesn't need help from anyone" and gives "life, breath, and everything" to all people, encourages a humble trust in His power. From my personal experience, letting go of the need to control events and fully trusting God's timing has brought a deep peace and reassurance. Instead of striving to 'move God's hands,' I find it more fulfilling to pray for guidance and be open to the path He lays out, knowing He is capable of making the impossible possible on His own. This perspective also fosters patience and faith, helping me to accept challenges as parts of God’s sovereign plan rather than obstacles that require immediate human fixing. Ultimately, embracing God's independence in fulfilling His will strengthens my relationship with Him and enriches my spiritual journey.
