Snipes
Hey everyone! So, you want to get better at sniping in Warzone? Trust me, there's nothing quite like landing those satisfying, long-range headshots. I've spent countless hours grinding in Verdansk and Caldera, and now on the new maps, trying to perfect my sniper game, and I'm here to share some of my personal secrets and what's worked best for me to turn into a true sharpshooter. First off, let's talk about the rifle. While metas change, I’ve had incredible success with the LW3A1 Frostline. It just feels right, offering a great balance of bullet velocity and damage. For attachments, always prioritize bullet velocity and aim-down-sight (ADS) speed. A good suppressor is critical for staying off the radar after a shot. I usually run a high-magnification scope, a long barrel for added range and velocity, a good stock for stability, and a laser to help with quick scopes in a pinch. Don't forget extended mags; nothing worse than running out of bullets mid-fight! Next up, positioning is everything. You can have the best aim in the world, but if you're exposed, you're toast. I always look for high ground with good cover, giving me clear sightlines without being an easy target. Places near a BUNKER DEPLOYABLE BUY STATION can be prime spots – not just for getting your loadout, but often they offer elevated positions or good vantage points over busy areas. Just remember to move if you're getting spotted too often. Staying static makes you predictable. When it comes to actual firing, practice makes perfect. Learn the bullet drop for your chosen rifle at different ranges. It's not always a straight shot! Leading your target is also crucial, especially if they're sprinting. I try to HOLD FOCUS on my target's movement pattern and predict where they'll be. Don't be afraid to take a breath and line up the shot. Sometimes, patience is your best friend. Another tip I've learned the hard way: don't just hard-scope all the time. Learning to quick scope can save your life in close-to-medium range encounters. It’s tough, but practicing in Plunder or even custom games can really improve your reaction time. Also, remember your secondary weapon! A good SMG or assault rifle is essential for those moments when an enemy pushes your position, or you need to switch quickly after missing a shot. I've had many moments where a quick swap prevented me from getting wiped. Perks also play a massive role. Cold-Blooded helps you avoid thermal scopes, Ghost keeps you off the radar during UAVs, and High Alert is a game-changer for knowing when someone is aiming at you – it gives you that split second to react. These aren't just for defense; they let you play more aggressively, knowing you have a slight edge. Finally, don't get discouraged! Sniping has a steep learning curve. There will be days where you hit every shot, and days where you can't hit a barn door. The goal is consistent improvement. Watch how top streamers like [DaMIX]YUNGHIMLEWW or xxTeachax play (I’ve definitely picked up a few tricks watching them!), practice your aim, and most importantly, have fun with it. There’s no better feeling than going on a RAMPAGE with your sniper and securing that win for your squad. Keep at it, and you'll be a Warzone sniping legend in no time!
