Apps I use daily (no joke)

• fitness app: I have a personal coach who helps me with my nutrition goals. In this app I can log meals, weigh in, and upload progress pictures! This holds me accountable for the nutrition goals I have set for myself!

•alive: if you love Whitney Simmons, you’ll LOVE this app! There’s TONS of workouts to choose from and even workout plans that range from beginner, intermediate, and advanced! There’s also a built in journal and a spot to share gratitude as well! Love love love this app!

• interval timer: I use this for the ab circuits I do because I suck at keeping track of time 🥲

• rise sleep: keeps track of my sleep time, shows me my morning, afternoon, and evening peaks, and even lets me log naps I take!

•floret: my favorite habit tracker! Currently have habits set for 40oz of water, read for 20 minutes, and 8k steps that I check off daily!

• Nike Run Club: I’ve recently entered my running girl era and this is such a fun and FREE app that has TONS of guided runs and even has programs to help you get ready for a 5k, 10, half marathon, and even a marathon!

• Bookly: I log all my reading time and books here! You can set daily, monthly, and yearly reading goals too! Currently have a 145 day reading streak 🤭

• Any.do: connects to your calendar and lets you make your own daily to do list. Anything you don’t get done for a particular day automatically moves to the next day so you’ll see it and remember to get it done. As a girl who has 1,000s of things going on in their life, this app is a life saver!

•let’s save widget: let’s me keep up with my spending and allows you to set a monthly budget. Only downside of this is that you’ve got to hold your self accountable to log things you spend money on 🥲 however, I find that if I have to go type something in that I buy, I’m more likely to think again about buying it!

What are your go to apps???

2024/6/29 Edited to

... Read moreOkay, so we've all got our phones glued to us, right? But are we using them to our full advantage? For us girls, juggling studies, work, social lives, and personal goals can feel like a marathon. That's why I truly believe in harnessing the power of the right apps to make life not just easier, but more empowering. Let's talk fitness. My personal 'Fitness App' is a game-changer because it connects me directly with my coach, letting me track nutrition, weigh-ins, and progress photos. For many of us, fitness can feel intimidating, but having that personalized guidance and seeing your own journey unfold visually is incredibly motivating. It transforms working out from a chore into a celebration of what your body can do. And if you’re looking for structured workouts, 'Alive' is a lifesaver! I love that it caters to all levels – beginner to advanced. It's like having a personal trainer in your pocket, and the journal feature is a bonus for mental well-being. For those of us who hate just standing around during ab circuits, an 'IntervalTimer' is a must for keeping focus! Moving beyond the gym, how about hitting the pavement? The 'Nike Run Club' app has honestly made me fall in love with running. It’s free, full of guided runs, and has programs for everything from a 5K to a marathon. It's not just about physical health; it's about pushing your limits and celebrating small victories. Trust me, hitting that 'run completed' notification is a huge mood booster! But self-care isn't just about sweat. Sleep is *everything*. That's where 'Rise Sleep' comes in. Understanding my sleep cycles and those energy peaks helps me plan my day better and avoid burnout. And for building consistent healthy habits, 'Floret' is my absolute favorite. Whether it's drinking enough water, reading for twenty minutes, or hitting those 8k steps, seeing those checkmarks pile up gives such a sense of accomplishment. It's about building small, sustainable actions that lead to big changes. On the productivity front, 'Any.do' has literally saved my sanity. As someone with a gazillion things on her plate, the simple to-do list combined with calendar integration is brilliant. And the fact that unfinished tasks roll over to the next day? Genius! No more forgotten tasks or endless mental lists haunting me. It truly helps declutter my mind. And speaking of enriching your mind, 'Bookly' is fantastic for all my fellow bookworms. Logging my reading time and books has turned reading into a fun challenge. Setting daily, monthly, and yearly goals, and seeing that reading streak grow, makes me prioritize quiet time with a good book. It's a wonderful escape and a way to keep learning. Finally, let's talk money, honey! The 'Let's Save' widget on my phone has made a huge difference in my financial awareness. It's so easy to just swipe and log expenses. It might seem tedious at first, but knowing exactly where my money is going has curbed my impulse buys significantly. It empowers me to take control of my budget and work towards my financial goals. These apps aren't just tools; they're partners in navigating our busy lives, helping us stay healthy, organized, and focused on personal growth. By integrating them smartly, we can make our phones work for us, not against us, and truly elevate our daily routines.

Can you explain how to use the Floret app cause I’m really confused

I am loving that “let’s save” widget! 🔥 I definitely agree that it will hold us more accountable and think about things before buying! 😂 I’m guilty of that myself, but that app and widget is so much better than me writing it down and forgetting it’s there 😭😭
