Here is a REAL day in my life as a SAHM.
Dealing with tantrums while trying to homeschool and go through my own changes has been quite a challenge. But man, Jesus really grounds me when I just lay it at his feet. Motherhood isn’t about perfection, it’s admitting that you can’t do this thing without Him.
Love you all so much! I hope you enjoy this vloggy vlog!
Being a stay-at-home mom (SAHM) often means managing a whirlwind of responsibilities, especially when homeschooling young children. From my own experience, balancing homeschooling duties and handling toddler tantrums can feel overwhelming at times. It’s easy to strive for perfection in motherhood but embracing imperfection and relying on personal faith or inner strength can be truly grounding. For me, moments of prayer or simply pausing to reflect have helped me stay calm and focused during difficult times. Many SAHMs I’ve connected with share similar experiences of feeling stretched between teaching their kids and managing the household, all while navigating their own emotional changes. Tools like establishing a flexible daily routine, incorporating quiet time, and acknowledging small victories help make each day manageable. Additionally, finding a supportive community—whether online or locally with other moms—provides a safe space to share struggles, receive advice, and celebrate progress. Watching or creating vlog-style content about day-to-day life as a SAHM can offer both encouragement and a sense of solidarity. I’ve also found that simple pleasures, such as enjoying a cup of coffee or moments of rest, contribute significantly to mental well-being. It’s important to honor your own needs alongside those of your children. Ultimately, motherhood is a journey that doesn’t require perfection but calls for patience, grace, and often, spiritual grounding. Whether faith is your anchor or other sources of strength, accepting support and embracing the moment helps navigate the beautiful chaos of being a stay-at-home mom.
